The company is based in Brno, a city with 400 000 inhabitants and a
significant industrial, cultural and administrative centre of South
Moravia. It is about 200 km from Prague, the capital of the Czech
Republic, and about 120 km from Vienna, the capital of Austria. The
city has very good rail, road and air connections. The firm is situated
near the city centre. The city is the seat of several universities:
Masaryk University; Technical University; Mendel University of
Agriculture and Forestry; Janáček Academy of Music, Drama and Fine
Arts; Military Academy; and the Veterinary and Pharmaceutical
University. Brno is also the venue for the annual International Trade
Fair of Machine Engineering, the International Trade Fair of Consumer
Goods and many other trade fairs and shows. The Brno surroundings are
very interesting for tourists and provide abundant possibilities for
sports, hiking and sight-seeing trips.
